How to start your rental

Once you have made your reservation you will receive an email to confirm that your booking has been approved. This is normally sent to you within 5 minutes of making your reservation.

30 minutes before your hire starts you will receive an email from us – Before you collect your vehicle. This email contains a link to our website and will give you very useful information before you go to collect your vehicle. We advise all customers to read this.

15 minutes before the start of your booking you will receive another email that advised your vehicle has been allocated. Click on the link to open a map on your mobile device that can then direct you to your vehicle.

Once you have located your vehicle, we advise that you look around the vehicle and if possible, take some time-stamped photos. 

Open your app and you will be greeted with the screen opposite/below.

On this screen please ensure:

  1. The registration plate on the front of the vehicle matches that shown on the app
  2. If you notice any damage on the vehicle please click the information icon to report damage – for details on reporting damage click here

Tap on the unlock button and you should hear the vehicle unlock.

Check the interior of the vehicle and report any interior damage or uncleanliness before starting your journey (See Damage Reporting Guide).

Open the glove box and you will find the key in the key holder slot. Take out the key and start your journey.

**** Please remember that if you need to leave/park the vehicle while you are still using the vehicle you must always take the key with you. While the vehicle is on hire to you can only unlock and lock the vehicle with the key provided ****
