How to sign up and become a member.

Who will be able to join?

  • You must be between 25 – 72 years old.
  • You must have held your valid full driving licence for a minimum of 1 year.
  • Have no major points or endorsements within the last 3 years.
  • Be registered and your billing address.
  • You must have agreed to Kendall Go terms and conditions.

How do I join?

Application is complete through the “Kendall Go” app.

Verify your identity by uploading a copy of your driving licence and taking a self through our verification partner “Veriff”.

Provide us with a DVLA Licence Check Code** enabling us to check your driving licence.

Send us Proof of address in the form of a utility bill, bank statement, dated within the last 3 months to your registered home address.

Provide valid debit or credit card details, making sure the card is registered in your name and your billing address. We do not accept any pre-paid top up cards.

 

** A DVLA licence code can be generated by click on the following link – https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence This code can only be used once so please do not use this yourself.

Do you have to pay to join and how long does it take?

A £10.00 application fee is debited from your card on submission of your application. Regardless of the outcome of your application this is non-refundable.

Applications can take up to 72hrs to be reviewed and approved, and we may require additional information before approval. Additional information request will be sent to you via the email address provide to us by you.

You can check the status of your application online. However, if you have not had any updates after 72 hours, please contact us via email at go@kendallcars.com

Do we allow international drivers?

We love to welcome international drivers to Kendall Go and can accept neatly all international driving licences. We will however require additional information is sent to us before approval of your application which can include but not limited to –

  • A copy of your valid passport photograph page
  • Proof of address in the form of a utility bill, bank statement, dated within the last 3 months to your home address in your country of residence,
  • Proof of hotel, Air BnB or address of where you are staying while you are in the UK.

Please be advised that due to the additional information required the application process may take longer, but we aim to have you approved as soon as possible once we have received the additional requested information back.

What can I do if I am having issues with the application process?

If you are experiencing issues that you cannot resolve with the application process, please contact go@kendallcars.com, Making sure that you include your details and any screenshots with error messages and out customer service team will try and resolve this for you as quick as possible.

If you are having payment issue –

Payment Authorization Issues: Contact you bank directly for assistance and then let us know.

Verify your billing information: Ensure your billing address matches exactly with you’re the address on your statement.

Restricted Cards: We do not except any pre-paid top up card, Cards must be in the members name only.

What to do if your application is rejected.

If an application is rejected, we will email you to inform you of the reason and where possible try to resolve the issue so that you can become a member, however this may not always be possible. Some reason for rejection may be as follows –

Photocard Licence has expired: Our insurance company will not allow us to insure you if your photocard licence has expired. You can find your expiry date under section 4B on your licence.

Missing information or document: Provide these to us as soon as possible and we will get you up and running if it meets the requirements.

Licence Endorsements: If you have certain point or endorsement on your licence, we may not be able to hire to you, until these have passed a certain time period or be removed from your licence.
