Although we regularly inspect our vehicles, there may be instances where a vehicle has been on multiple hires before we can assess it again. For this reason, we strongly recommend that customers thoroughly check both the interior and exterior of the vehicle before beginning their journey. If you notice any new damage, cleanliness issues, or potential mechanical concerns, please report them via the app or by contacting our support team.

At Kendall Go we have a fair wear and tear policy, and some damage may be on our vehicle that you feel is damage, however this is covered under the policy. Only damage that is not covered by this policy should be reported to us at the time of collection.

Internal Damage

Any missing, ripped, cracked or holed ply lining.

Any holes, rips, burns or tear, regardless of size.

Any spills or stains.

Any missing or damaged interior parts.

External Damage

Any dent or scrape exceeding 50mm.

Any holes or tears.

Any scratch through paintwork.

Any shallow scratch that exceeds 50mm.

Any missing, scuff or scratch damage to plastic trims that can not be cleaned away.

Bumper Damage

Scuffs and dents that exceed 50mm.

Any holes and tears, regardless of size.

Any misalignment.

Wheels and Wing Mirror Damage

Any missing or damaged hub caps that cannot be cleaned away.

Alloy wheel or wing mirrors with any damage that cannot be cleaned away.

How to report issues in the app.

At the start of you hire please click on the information button as shown here (an exclamation mark within a circle to the right of the vehicle name)

You will then be taken to the following screen. Please select which issue you would like to report

You have 6 options to choose from.

If you feel that our vehicle is not up to standard, please report this to us choosing the relevant option below and will arrange for the vehicle to be cleaned after your hire has ended

  1. Vehicle Exterior – Not Clean
  2. Vehicle Interior – Not Clean

Any damage that is not covered by our Fair Wear and Tear Policy should be reported to us before the start of the hire by selecting:

  1. Vehicle Damage – Exterior
  2. Vehicle Damage – Interior

If you notice any issues with the wheel/tyres that is non urgent, please report it at the start of the hire by selecting:

  1. Tyre/Wheel Issue

If you notice any issues with the mechanics of the vehicle that is non urgent, please report it at the start of the hire by selecting:

  1. Mechanical Issue

If there is damage or a mechanical issue with the vehicle that stops you from being able to begin your hire, please contact the support team immediately on 0203 096 0636

Selecting the issue type above will then open the incident reporting page in app.

Make sure to add as many details as possible including any or multiple photos by click on the camera button.

Once you are happy with what you would like to report click save.

You will then receive a pop-up note to confirm that the damage has been reported which will come directly through to the support team.

Email confirmation of the report will also be sent directly to your email.
